Terms and Conditions

For the purposes of the Terms and Conditions (hereinafter, T&C), we will refer to the users of the web/app as “User” and “Users”. The term User applies to those who access the web/app and, in short, to anyone who uses and interacts with it.

We suggest you read the T&C governing the use of the web/app carefully as it contains important information regarding your legal and contractual rights and obligations. Accepting the T&C implies that you have thoroughly reviewed the legal terms and that you expressly accept and consent to the obligations and provisions herein.

The T&C of the Agreement include various obligations, limitations, and exclusions, stipulations regarding the protection of personal data, privacy policies, methods of dispute resolution, jurisdiction, and applicable legal provisions.

THE USE OF THE SYSTEM WILL BE INTERPRETED AS AN UNEQUIVOCAL ACT THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN YOUR FULL CONSENT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH HEREIN. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE T&C, YOU MAY NOT AND SHOULD NOT USE THE WEB/APP.

1. System Description:

   Adopsys is a medium through which intermediation is provided between people who wish to give up an animal for adoption and those who wish to adopt them. The main purpose is to generate a connection between both parties so that they can privately contact each other and agree on the adoption by mutual consent.

2. Access to the platform:

   Users access through the web/app in a simple manner without the need to register or log in, thus they can interact with the various tabs available and will be able to see the animals posted for adoption.

3. Data Entry:

   For the purposes of proceeding with giving up for adoption or adopting any of the posted animals, it will be necessary to enter a series of data, which must be provided accurately and appropriately. Likewise, the data must be correct, true, and precise. In case of doubts regarding the content of the information to be entered, you should consult with Adopsys beforehand.

   The User will be solely responsible for the content, truthfulness, and accuracy of the information.

4. Responsibility for misuse of Adopsys:

   The User is responsible for the use of Adopsys and their interaction with other users, third parties, and animals is their sole responsibility. Adopsys is merely a tool to help establish the link between the parties.

   The User will always be the final responsible when using Adopsys and for the interactions generated with other users, likewise, they are responsible for the animals subject to adoption, in all aspects, with special attention to the health aspects of them.

   In case the user considers that any publication may be violating some legislation, for any kind of aspect, they are obligated to report it to Adopsys, which will proceed to deactivate it either in case of verification or in case of unverified doubt. The report will be made through the channels that will be made available to the user for this purpose.

5. Data Policy:

   Adopsys uses information provided by the User. The sole purpose of its collection and management is the correct provision of the service and operation of Adopsys.

   Users consent to the delivery of data for the purpose of its compilation, manipulation, and use by Adopsys.

6. Confidentiality:

   Adopsys will maintain full confidentiality regarding the data provided by Users.

   The Parties agree that all Data that is delivered will be considered as confidential information (hereinafter “Information”), including, without limitation and merely by way of example, personal, banking, tax, corporate data, contact details, emails, commercial strategies, chemical formulas, information on agricultural activities, "know-how", trade secrets, customer lists, pricing policies, operating methods, marketing and sales information, marketing plans or strategies, product development techniques or plans, business acquisition plans, and other proprietary information of the Party providing the data and information.

   Confidential information for the purposes of the T&C does not include data or information that before being disclosed by the User (i) was known to the general public without this being due to the wrongful act of the Parties or any of the Parties or their representatives; (ii) had been received by Adopsys from a third party without a confidentiality obligation; (iii) was subject to a written authorization from the User, allowing its disclosure; (iv) had been independently generated by the User outside the scope of applicability of the T&C either with or without the direct or indirect use of the Information received (v) that come from data, information, or general knowledge that, even applicable to the eventual relationship that emerges from the present, come from exogenous factors.

   The User authorizes Adopsys to retain the information that has been generated by the use of Adopsys.

7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction:

   The legislation of the Argentine Republic is applicable to the present and the parties extend jurisdiction to the Ordinary Courts of the city of Santa Fe, Republic of Argentina, renouncing any other forum that could correspond.

8. Modifications:

   Adopsys reserves the right to modify the T&C at any time. In case of modifications, Users will be notified through the web/app or by email. The continued use of Adopsys by the User implies acceptance of the modified T&C.
