Privacy Policy

This privacy policy aims to define the principles implemented by Adopsys for the collection, storage, and processing of personal data.

The Privacy Policy applies to personal data and information obtained and collected by Adopsys through its web platform and app.

Personal Data

For the implementation of the Privacy Policy, the concept of personal data will be assigned the broadest possible criterion, privileging the protection of the rights of clients and third parties linked to Adopsys regardless of the type of legal relationship that binds such persons.

Principles to Respect in the Processing of Personal Data

Adopsys recognizes the ownership of their personal data by its clients, third parties, employees, suppliers, and other business partners, regardless of the purpose for which they have been provided and subsequently processed by Adopsys.

Adopsys will process and proceed with the treatment of personal data and any other type of data or information exclusively for the internal management of the client within the company and for the complete functioning of the products and/or services it markets. In the case of third parties, employees, suppliers, and other business partners, the scope of personal data processing will be limited to what is specifically determined in the instruments of transfer, authorization of processing, and storage that are signed between Adopsys and each of them.

Personal data will be treated fairly and lawfully. Collection cannot be carried out without prior notice to the individuals.

The collected and processed personal data must be adequate, relevant, and not excessive in relation to the purposes set, also, they must be accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and those that are inaccurate or incomplete must be erased or rectified.

Personal data must not be retained in a form that allows the identification of the individuals involved beyond the time necessary for the purpose for which they have been collected and processed.

Individuals whose personal data is being used by Adopsys under the terms of this Privacy Policy have the right to exercise their right to information, access, update, rectification, and deletion.

Rights of the Data Subject

The Right of Access

The data subject, upon proof of identity, has the right of access to complete information and a copy of their stored data. The exercise of this right must be at reasonable intervals. To exercise it, access must be through adopsys@gmail.com. Adopsys will respond within a maximum period of 10 business days.

Characteristics of the Information to be Provided

The information must be extensive and cover the entirety of the record belonging to the data subject, even if the request only covers an aspect of the personal data. In no case may the report reveal data belonging to third parties, even if they are linked to the interested party. The information will be provided by electronic means.

The Right to Rectification, Update, or Deletion

The data subject has the right to request that their data be rectified, updated, and where appropriate, deleted.

To exercise this right, the data subject must send an email to: adopsys@gmail.com

Adopsys must proceed with the rectification, deletion, or update of the data subject's personal data, carrying out the necessary operations for this purpose within a maximum period of 5 (five) consecutive days.

The rectification, update, or deletion of inaccurate or incomplete personal data held in Adopsys' databases will be carried out at no cost to the data subject.

The deletion of personal data will not proceed when there is a legal obligation to retain them.

Personal data will be retained for the periods provided in the instruments signed and, where applicable, in the provisions that apply.

Obligation of Security and Confidentiality

Adopsys will respect security measures regarding the treatment of personal data, to avoid its alteration, loss, consultation, or unauthorized processing, and to detect deviations, whether intentional or not, of information, whether the risks come from human action or the technical means used. All Adopsys employees have assumed the obligation of confidentiality for the use of data. Any transfer of personal data to third parties must be made within the framework of a confidentiality agreement or contract that includes this obligation. The confidentiality obligation will persist in both cases even after the relationship with Adopsys has ended.

Transfer of Personal Data

Personal data can only be transferred for the fulfillment of the legitimate interest of the grantor and with the prior consent of the personal data subjects.

International Transfer

International transfer of personal data is prohibited by law to countries or international or supranational organizations that do not provide adequate levels of protection.

The prohibition will not apply in case there is express consent from the data subject of the personal data being transferred.

The prohibition will also not apply when data dissociation techniques have been applied.

Minors

Adopsys does not collect personal data from minors. If a minor provides us with personal data without the consent of their parents or guardians, the parents or guardians can contact us through adopsys@gmail.com to delete such information.

Modifications to the Privacy Policy

Adopsys reserves the right to modify the Privacy Policy at any time. In case of modifications, Users will be notified through the web/app or by email. The User's continued use of Adopsys implies acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.
